**Cars in each class are checked before racing begins and may be moved to the appropriate class without notice.**

Kids Class:
Anyone 15 years old or younger can enter.  These cars are strictly non-modified cars. 
Cars not allowed in the kids class-Heavy Metal cars, Original FTE cars from 2005-2006, Target Race Aces cars, and Customized cars.
 
Rookies Class:
This class is for people who have never raced before this year.  Racers also visiting the race "to see what this is about" would race in this class.  Rookies are NOT limited to this class. Anyone achieving 10 or more points in one racing season graduates from the Rookie Class the following season and is ineligible in the class for the rest of their racing career (Congratulations!).  This is also the class the Birthday party participants will race in.
Cars not allowed in the rookie class-Heavy Metal cars, Original FTE cars from 2005-2006, Target Race Aces cars, and Customized cars.
 
Slowpoke Class:
Anyone can enter this class. Any car is eligible in this class.  The idea behind the class is the last car to finish the its race goes on to race again.  The first three finishers do not. Cars that do not cross the finish line are out.
 
Feather Weight Class:
Anyone can enter this class. To be eligible for this class, you must have a car that has either a plastic base or body (or both).
Cars not allowed in the Feather Weight class-Heavy Metal cars, Original FTE cars from 2005-2006, Target Race Aces cars, and Customized Cars.
 
Trucks Class:
Anyone can enter this class. Included in this class are pickups, trucks, ambulances, fire trucks, vans, and any customs produced by the die-cast companies. If any questions arise during pre-race setup as to whether it is eligible for the class, please see a race official.   
Trucks not allowed in the trucks class-Original FTE trucks from 2005-2006, Target Race Aces trucks, and Customized Trucks.
 
Muscle Car Class:
Anyone can enter this class. Cars in this class are American made street cars from the 1960s and 1970s. Please see a race official or the Muscle Car book (available on race day).
Cars not allowed in the Muscle Car class-Original FTE cars from 2005-2006, Target Race Aces cars , and Customized cars.
 
Heavy Metal Class:
Anyone can enter this class.  It is designed for the heavier cars, so they can more fairly compete against each other. To be eligible for this class, the car must have a metal frame and a metal body. Internal plastic molding (seats, engine, and windows ) are acceptable.  If any questions arise during pre-race setup as to whether it is eligible for the class, please see a race official.   
Cars not allowed in the Heavy Metal class-Original FTE cars from 2005-2006, Target Race Aces cars, and Customized Trucks.
 
Variety Class:
This class is a racing class and will have a different theme each month, with points being awarded each month and the winner being garaged.  Anyone can enter this class.
 
February-Matchbox Cars/Trucks
All Matchbox cars are eligible for this class.
Cars not allowed in the Feather Weight class-Heavy Metal cars,
 
March-NASCAR Cars
NASCAR styled cars (both real and fictional) can be raced in this class.
Cars not allowed in the NASCAR Car class-Heavy Metal cars, Original FTE cars from 2005-2006, Target Race Aces cars, and Customized Trucks.
